Wednesday Night Series
Every Wednesday at 7pm something fun and educational.
Sept 10: Health Forum: What Happened to Tim Russert? Nia Lendaris, RN and Director of St. Helena Hospital’s Cardiovascular Service Line, will discuss what you can do to prevent what happened to Russert from happening to you.
Sept 17: On Nature: Master Gardeners present Preparing Your Garden for Winter. Come learn how to ready your garden for freezing and drying conditions that can tax even hardy plants. Protect your garden over the cold months and make spring cleanup easier.
Sept 24: Banned Books: Every year hundreds of books are objects of censorship attempts. The St. Helena Library invites you to spend an evening celebrating your right to read by reviewing historical and recent challenges and excepts from our favorite banned titles. Banned Books Week 2008 is Sept 27–Oct 4.
FOR CHILDREN
Children of all ages and their adults are invited to join children’s librarian Leslie Stanton three times a week for storytimes.
Storytime is offered weekly on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. See calendar for details.
