Dec 3: Celebrating the Repeal of Prohibition: On January 16, 1920, production and sale of alcoholic beverages in the United States became illegal with the passage of the 18th Amendment to the Constitution, which had a profound effect on Napa Valley. Thirteen years later, on December 5, 1933, Prohibition was finally repealed. Come learn about and celebrate this momentous anniversary with us.
Dec 10: Holiday Concert with Kith & Kin: Join us for a selection of folk and holiday music from local Celtic band Kith & Kin. The entire family is invited to hear this exciting group share a selection of folk and holiday music. Hot chocolate, apple cider and other holiday “cheer” will be served.
Dec 17: Holiday Caroling: Join us for an evening of music and celebration. Whether you are a classically trained singer or completely tone-deaf, we want you to be a part of our holiday fun! Bring the whole family for caroling and refreshments.
FOR CHILDREN
Children of all ages and their adults are invited to join children’s librarian Leslie Stanton three times a week for storytimes. Storytime is offered weekly on Tuesdays, Wed-nesdays, and Fridays. See calendar for details.
